The World Crisis In Consciousness Is Nothing New
A Society Built On Egoic Manifestations Comes With Karma
DISCLAIMER: Our mission at The Mind Awakened is to advocate for ending the vicious cycles of upheavals, which undoubtedly exist because we must learn to stand on our two feet and reject any form of hierarchical structure. The topics of spirituality and religion often induce self-censorship because political correctness is institutionalized and keeps Society compartmentalized to the detriment of everybody.
World religions share many similarities.
One thing we noticed over the last two decades is that although religions may have a beneficial impact on the individual, they are rather disruptive on the collective level, as crowd psychology tends to feast on ideological survival unquestioningly.
The Us versus Them.
We find the same attitudes in all social activities involving large groups. Politics does not escape this conclusion, of course. So, over the centuries, let’s face it once and for all: such a groupthink concept has not successfully resolved our planetary ordeals. Groupthink even amplified them.
We must understand that repeating the same errors while expecting different results is precisely why, today, nothing makes sense anymore around us. Freedom and Truth are sacrificed on the altar of social superficiality and fakeness.
The Groupthink theory cannot survive without resorting to extreme polarization, and that’s their main pitfall because the Natural Order prefers the micro-template for all human interactions. Interventionism is a recipe for disaster.
Groupthink is, therefore, a concept that has no basis in sociology and spirituality.
We have to go back to Ancient Times to grasp the deep meaning of what is happening to us as a Planetary Collective, and that trying to pull the blanket in one direction or another is not only a waste of time but also a global threat.
An Ancient Egyptian Proverb says:
Listen to your convictions, even if they seem absurd to your reason. Know the world in yourself. Never look for yourself in the world, for this would be to project your illusion.
Individually, humans adopt more flexible social behaviors and often try to break barriers related to their upbringing when socializing because they sense that a well-functioning society requires diplomacy and empathy. But that, too, turned out to be a massive global challenge.
The divide has grown bigger as the worship of materialism spread its tentacles ever farther.
Another negative trait shared by most religious teachings is that they are unable to help establish a healthy mind-spirit-body balance because our pervasive materialist approach to life hijacked everything and ultimately caused a massive crisis in Consciousness.
That crisis has always existed, hanging over our heads, but it has accelerated with industrialization over the last century.
Many are unaware that “usury” is (still) banned by many religious teachings. However, usury has been central to many controversies since money was invented. Governments often adopted an ambiguous stance toward it, resulting in the French Revolution.
Despite all this, the concept of usury was eventually “democratized”. In the West, usury became accepted as the economy geared toward mass production. Credit became dogma and also a mind virus.
Today, debt is regarded as necessary. But now that the global debt is about $315 trillion, some are finally ringing the alarm bell. Our education system has never attempted to address the matter either. It even encouraged the pursuit of materialism. Religions never made any drastic move, as misery continually provides them with followers.
This crisis in Consciousness has entered its last stage and will hit all our institutions.
As it stands, we might be too far gone. But that does not change the fact that we are about to enter a twilight zone of confusion, perhaps global tyranny.
Remember the quote above when observing all the ongoing divide-and-conquer worldwide caused by our global system's endorsing economic survivalism and the aggressive plunder of Nature.
The system works just fine as designed. Conflict is the very Nature of Society, and it is taken so seriously that we all waste our lives dealing with the same aftermaths and repeating history.
What is it for, in the end?
Greed destroys all belief systems. Declaring the planet a common heritage is the only way out.
We are in this giant mess because Society's preoccupation with materialism has narrowed the meaning of existence so much that many are oblivious to the big picture, and have forgotten the Absoluteness of Life.
We recommend our article or video probing The Complexity Of Greed.
In other words, Society is so morally bankrupt that the time for individual and collective redemption has come. The Collective Ego is about to break apart as Groupthink becomes obsolete.
There is a systemic lack of unity due to the fear of experiencing the pain associated with inner transformation and the apprehension of not knowing what comes next. The Collective Ego cannot avoid the excruciating anguish of the status quo and is hindered by materialistic worldviews that harm everyone.
Not everything is lost; there is an upside to everything.
Industrialization's upside? More than ever, it made us realize that the Law of Empathy must be embraced to save civilization! Emotional Intelligence, the EQ, can come to our rescue, along with a deep understanding that what we impose on ourselves individually mirrors the world's pain.
Reconnection to the Whole does not require monetized actions. Freedom is not for sale. To experience Love and Freedom, it is crucial to have Benevolent Planetary Stewardship, as coercion always fuels social disruptions.
We can no longer afford the concept of competition, the drive behind our unfettered materialism, which is destroying the planet… and humanity’s soul.
